The Copa América de Futsal is the main national futsal competition of the CONMEBOL nations. It was first held in 1967 and until 1989 was organized by FIFUSA and was named "South American Futsal Championship".[1] In 2003 the competition changed its name to "Copa América de Futsal".[1]
